The Self-Regulation module asks that teachers:
- choose a student with whom one already has a rapport
- work with one student for the duration of the study
- arrange for time with the student outside of regular class time (i.e., before or after school, lunch, free or study periods)
- arrange for a private meeting area (i.e., an empty classroom or office area)
- work with the student on a regular basis, (2-3 times) per week
- commit 20-30 minutes to each session
- read carefully the entire module before beginning the sessions
- complete and submit the weekly report checklist found in the module
