Introduction

The Self-Regulation module asks that teachers:

  • choose a student with whom one already has a rapport
  • work with one student for the duration of the study
  • arrange for time with the student outside of regular class time (i.e., before or after school, lunch, free or study periods)
  • arrange for a private meeting area (i.e., an empty classroom or office area)
  • work with the student on a regular basis, (2-3 times) per week
  • commit 20-30 minutes to each session
  • read carefully the entire module before beginning the sessions
  • complete and submit the weekly report checklist found in the module
